About This Project

Rapture is an Old School First Person Shooter about an cyborg who is waken up from a long sleep to destroy a rogue AI who took control of an exo planet who was once in full control of humanity.

Gun down waves of enemy robots to get to that rogue AI and destroy it.

My Work

Management

Everything programmed except the AI behaviours has been touched or completely developped by me and my coworker Clement Galliano. 3C, shooting mechanics, arena wave management and level objects were fine tuned by my hands on Unreal Engine's Blueprints

My second biggest involvement would be in the design of the game. At pre production my technical input was used to 1. Be sure to envision mechanics that can be done by us, and 2. Help create new mechanics or additionnal mechanics after thorough research on the subject.

Management and project development always been a strong suit for me and my help was needed a lot in this project to calculate the amount of time we could allow on certain features, levels, and additionnal mechanics to implement in the game. Also, I played a lot into quality control of the project in level design, 3C and even help with art integration in levels.
