This is Me!
Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Danick and welcome to this get to know me page!
Being a single child, I did get to learn how to live by myself and having fun alone, and gaming was and still is a big part of that fun. From my first experience on the NES to my newest PC build, I still experience video games the same way I did before: as a complex mix of all possible technical and artistic medium and entertainment.
Having persued studies in programming at first in Cegep and Uniersity of Montréal, I came to realize that my creative side wasn't being fulfilled. And so I changed major and went to Game Design at ISART Digital Montréal. There I developped many skills that make me the Game/Technical Designer I want to be and learnt how to mix all my past experiences in programming, music, movies and video games that I have played into one to make the best video game possible.
What Gets Me Going
Video Games
Video games are my first and biggest passion. I may consume a little too much of those, but experiencing and learning about them made me go the versatile person that I am in this profession
Music
For the longest time I have been a huge music enjoyer. From Metal to Classic to EDM and even more, nothing goes under my radar. There is a song for every mood in a day/week/year and I listen to it
Training and Sports
Hockey has been an big part of my youth and so now is Training. Although my other passions seems sedentary, I compensate by being highly active at least 4-6 times a week playing hockey, going to the gym or doing multiple other sports.
Everything
There is so much more that I love to learn about because a day without learning something is quite a wasteful day isn't it? Science, finance, history, electronics, movies, anime, art, etc. Sometimes, it gets tough for me to decide what to do with my free time when there is so much I want to do.
