Hypercasual - Fishing

Project

Collection Fishing Game

This project was realized at the end of 2021. We had a goal to make an entire Hypercasual game on mobile in 2 months. From conception to the gold launch this project was a hell of a challenge as it being our first on mobile and on a bigger scale team, 3 Game Designers and 6 Artists.

Gameplay Video

Programming

The entire gameplay loop and fish management was programmed in C# using json files. The gameplay is a reproduction of Stardew Valley's fishing and the fish pooling was done with characteristics from the json file.

Project Management

I was the lead of this project and that task consisted of coordinating the 2 other Game Designers and 6 Artists on this adventure. Make them learn versionning on Perforce and look after the whole process of the game and versionning.

Game Design

This project was my own pitch. Being the lead of the project and also the programmer, I had to accept or refuse the ideas coming in during pre-production and production to ensure the success of our project
